Cosy would be a perfect word to describe this place, It's a lovely place, especially if you like books, coffee or tea, comfort and silence (at least during the time I spent there was quite quiet ).

I was lucky to find this place, I had hours to kill before meeting family on the south bank and loads of work to do for university. The downstairs is a great place to relax and get lots of work done, and the staff are really friendly and accommodating!

I stopped in while my husband was visiting Ian Allen Bookshop, also on Lower Marsh. I was delighted to find this shop, which has an engaging selection of books, perfect for browsing and unexpected discoveries. The young woman working there recommended a book I was glancing at--she had just finished it. I might otherwise have passed over it, but bought it thanks to her hand-selling efforts.
